What if Bottega Veneta was the new Céline?

This is not questionable anymore since former Céline’s director protegè Daniel Lee is leading the Italian luxury maison Bottega Veneta.

Phoebe Philo, former Celine’s creative director for 10 years, has left an empty space in fashion addicted career women’s wardrobe, but here comes Lee, Phoebe’s pupil in Céline maison, taking the reins of Bottega Veneta.

Lee’s Bottega Veneta is only at its second fashion show, but for as much as we have seen so far, he definitely deserves a spot in those women wardrobe next to Margiela, Yamamoto and Helmut Lang.

Many brands has tried to emulate Philo’s unique style: it is not a secret that Victoria Beckham, Ports e The Row are effected by those Phebe’s 10 years in Celine, but only a mix of a historical best leather quality of Bottega Veneta and Daniel’s good taste can raise philofile’s hope, despite they “hard to please” state of mind!
