On the closing of Milan Women's Fashion Week  FW20, Prada made the official announcement: Raf Simons will become co-creative director of Prada starting from April 2nd.

His responsibilities will concern both Prada menswear and womanswear.

The new role assumed by Simons in Prada marks the partnership of two of the biggest names in the fashion world. The first collection resulting from the new creative partnership will be Prada's SS21 which will be shown in September.

Rumors has it that Simons could also become the creative director of Miu Miu, with the aim of resurrecting the brand's menswear line. This may explain why Miu Miu's communications offices are about to be moved from Paris to Milan.

Moreover, Simons is not a stranger to Prada and the group behind the brand, we could rightly wonder if Simons and Miuccia Prada do not have any surprises in store for us!
